Dermal fillers are injectables used to add volume and hydration and to smooth away wrinkles and folds. Drs. Jeff and Stefanie Christian use them to restore lost volume in the cheeks and lips; to correct marionette lines, “parentheses” around the mouth, “smokers lines”, deep wrinkles in the skin; and to correct sagging. The doctors use longer-lasting hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, such as:
Radiesse®, a filler that builds collagen with prolonged use.
Radiesse for cheeks volume
Radiesse for lower jawl area
What to Expect
During the procedure, the doctors use a thin needle to inject a small amount of dermal filler in the area that needs correction.
For most patients, the procedure causes no more than minimal discomfort and the doctors use a variety of approaches to minimize discomfort including applying a topical numbing cream at the site of the injection as well as injecting a numbing agent along with the facial filler. N2O is another option our patients have available to them for minimizing discomfort and anxiety.
