During the procedure, Dr. Christian uses a thin needle to inject a small amount of dermal filler into the area that needs correction.
Our patients’ comfort is a very high priority for us. Almost all dermal fillers Westlake come with lidocaine already added. For those that don’t, we add lidocaine to improve the patient experience. For most patients and for most areas, dermal filler injections cause no more than minimal discomfort. For certain areas, we use additional techniques to minimize discomfort including topical numbing cream at the site of the injection and ProNox (laughing gas like you may have had at the dentist).
