truSculpt 3D

87% of women admit to being unhappy with some part of their body. For both men and women, the abdomen and flanks rate high as the area that bothers them the most.

truSculpt 3D is a nonsurgical radio frequency medical device designed to sculpt and contour the body. With truSculpt 3D, we can decrease circumference and diminish unwanted pockets of fat.

The ideal patient is in general good health with focal areas of concern – this is not a weight loss procedure. truSculpt 3D can be performed safely on any skin color.

3D Body Sculpting can be a way for you to have a better figure and earn more confidence.

  • How Does It Work?

    Fat cells are destroyed by heating those cells and maintaining the temperature for 15 minutes. The fat cells are broken down and then excreted.

  • How Long Does A Treatment Take?

    The length of the treatment will depend on the areas to be treated, but it generally takes about 1 hour to treat the abdomen and both flanks (love handles).

  • Does It Hurt?

    Most patients tell us that the treatment feels like a hot stone massage. The handpiece glides gently over the treatment area, and the temperature of the skin rises but should remain comfortable for the duration of the treatment. You may feel some initial tenderness in the treated area, but that will go away within a day or two.

  • How Many Treatments Will I Need?

    Circumference Reduction: Patients lose an average of 23% of superficial fat cells per treatment and 23% of the remaining fat cells at each subsequent treatment. It is important to remember that this is 23% of superficial fat, not fat inside the abdominal cavity or between muscles. Patients do not lose 23% of their body size.

    The number of treatments needed is based on the following:

    ● Body Size
    ● Patient Expectation
    ● BMI – Best Candidates have a BMI of less than 30

  • When Will I See Results?

    After the treatment, your body will start to break down and flush out the remnants of the fat cells that have been treated, which begins the circumference reduction in the treated area. Each body is different, but most patients start seeing results in 6-8 weeks after the first treatment, and maximum results from each treatment can take up to 12 weeks. It is recommended to wait until after the full 12 weeks have passed to perform the next treatment on the same area for optimal results.

  • What Can I Expect After The Treatment?

    ● Redness in the treatment area typically resolves within 24 hours.● Swelling may develop and typically resolves within 4 days.● 20% of patients develop nodules in the treatment area after truSculpt or any circumferential fat reduction. These nodules may or may not be tender and resolve within several weeks, especially if left alone. These nodules are very different from the Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia that is seen in a small percentage of patients who undergo CoolSculpt circumferential fat reduction. PAH is often permanent and can be disfiguring.

  • Who Should NOT Have This Treatment?

    ● Patients who are pregnant.● Patients who have an implanted device in the treatment area, such as electronic implants, time-released medical implants, and superficially placed body contour implants.
