Dr. Stefanie Christian

Dr. Stefanie Christian is the founder of Timeless Laser and Skin Care in Westlake, Ohio. In 2001, Dr. Christian incorporated spider vein therapy into her OB/GYN practice, and in 2006, she transitioned to an exclusively skin care practice, after spending more than 14 years in academic, group, and private practice as an OB/GYN.

“Timeless Laser and Skin Care is a physician-managed practice and I take great pride in offering unique, individualized care,” says Dr. Christian.

We help men and women look their best at any age by offering non-invasive laser and light-based therapies for improving skin texture, pigment, tone, and treating blood vessels both on the face and legs. She also has a large injectables practice due to her artistic eye and gentle technique.

Dr. Christian has been using lasers in medicine since 1987, when she was trained and certified during her residency; but initially, she learned about lasers while studying Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry at Yale University.

“I was immediately fascinated by lasers and loved the physics involved,” Dr. Christian says. Dr. Christian has used a variety of lasers in her medical career, including both ablative lasers (ones that destroy tissue) as well as the non-ablative and minimally-ablative lasers she currently uses. Non-ablative lasers change tissue without destroying it and have little or no downtime.

Dr. Christian received her undergraduate degree from Yale University in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry, cum laude. She earned her medical degree with honors from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

She is a member of the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery and the International Society of Cosmetic and Laser Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Christian has extensive training in nutrition, especially as it pertains to health and wellness.

“With my background in biochemistry and additional training in nutrition, I have a particular interest in the effects of lifestyle and diet on wellness and how it affects the skin,” she said. “As a result, I have a more holistic approach to skin care.”

Born in Munich, Germany, Dr. Christian’s family moved to Cleveland in 1967. Dr. Christian graduated from Laurel School in Shaker Heights in 1979. An age-group swimmer as a girl, Dr. Christian competed on the crew team while at Yale. She lives on Cleveland’s west side with her husband, who is also a physician, and their golden retriever. They have three grown children and three grandchildren.
